This Sunday 20 January: Dr David Cohen, Old Testament Specialist from Vose Seminary

Sunday Church 9:30-10:40am

Children are spiritual beings too.

We cherish children, both as they are now and for the people they will become. We include children as important members of our church family. Right now we are preparing to begin Godly Play in early 2019
Meanwhile children have a play and activity area in the auditorium with parent seating beside it. We also have a parent room and change facilities available for your convenience.

"Godly Play is based upon the recognition that children have an innate sense of the presence of God. All they lack is the appropriate language to help them identify and express it so it can be explored and strengthened. The Godly Play approach teaches classical Christian language in a way that enhances the child's authentic experience of God so it can contribute to the creative life of the child and the world."  (From the Godly Play Foundation)

Shared Tables

Eat. Drink. Pray.

Food and wine are on the table. Being part of a faith community means spiritual life is on the table too. Shared Tables encourage you to invite some people to your table to share a meal with you, as a way to commit ourselves to love one another and to follow Jesus. Shared Tables will sometimes need a little help from our pastoral team to stay both fun and meaningful, so let us know if you are going to give this a go so we can support you.

The Exchange

Wrestling life’s big questions takes time.

The Exchange is how we gather in interactive ways. An Exchange may be a study group, workshop or practice based group.

Talking about real issues and questions, practicing spiritual disciplines, and wrestling with what it means to live as Christians, are all part of participating in an Exchange.

Starts September 2018 with How do I Read the Bible with Intelligence and Spiritual Hunger.

Wednesdays 7:00-9:00 pm 68 Waverley St Dianella
